Seattle-based Eurasian model Hannah Hsu in Vogue Italia by Brad Olsen Photography

Hello! Thank you for stopping by. Please feel free to take a look around, and spend a moment or two in my world. I've been modeling since 2009 - a door that quite unexpectedly presented itself due to late night procrastinating during midterms in college - and I fell in love with what I found on the other side.

I'm not your typical "model," by any means. Truth be told, I'm a bit camera shy. What I fell in love with wasn't the attention or the fake perception of a glamorous lifestyle, but rather the creative process. I've always loved art, in many forms. Drawing, painting, sculpting, music composition, poetry, dance, modeling - I have always pursued at least one artistic outlet throughout my life. Modeling also appeals to the more technical part of my brain - remember how I mentioned that I got into modeling whist "studying" for midterms? I hold two bachelors of science degrees in mathematics and physics, respectively.

As I said, not your typical model.

My entire modeling journey has been a bit atypical. Most models don't start in their 20's, as I did. In 2012, I signed with Wilhelmina, which was a small miracle, given my height - 5'6". I have been proud to have their amazing team at my back ever since. In 2013, I moved to Thailand, and signed with J.I.M. Modeling in Bangkok. I landed three jobs in my first two weeks (including two TVCs), which as a newbie is extremely exciting. I relocated back to Seattle at the end of the year, and due to unforeseen family circumstances, took a position working in my father's dental office while continuing to model in my home market. I've held positions in the corporate world including COO, CFO, office manager, CEO, and am currently a registered dental assistant.

In December 2014, I signed with Heffner Management in Seattle, providing me with an avenue to continue modeling professionally while phasing out of the dental clinic. As of November 2016, I relocated back to Bangkok with In Model International Co., and followed that assignment up with a contract in Manila through Jaja Model Management.

I am currently enjoying building back up a presence in the Seattle market.

Throughout my modeling career, I've had the opportunity to work on national and international campaigns with clients including Google, Microsoft, HP, Playboy, Unilever, Mercedes Benz, KFC, and Nickelodeon, to name a few. I've also been featured on Vogue Italia's PhotoVogue.

If you're interested in being a part of my journey, please don't hesitate to drop a line! Thanks for taking the time.
